The brightly illustrated children's picture story book was published in 1961 offers by G. P. Putnam's Sons of New York. The classic story is written by the author of the Little Toot books. The book is in good vintage pre-owned condition with no dust jacket. The cover has some minor soil as well as rounded corners. Inside front cover has some soil where it appears that some writing was erased. The actual story pages are clean and free of rips, tears, folds or writing. The spine is tight as though it has not been read much. A very nice copy of this classic book with beautiful illustrations.
