The Moon Fairy journal has been created inside a vintage book which I have handpainted, sprinkled with fairy dust and added a lot of imagination to. It has a large fairy puzzle front. The spine has been adorned with a spine dangle of beautiful beads threaded on waxed linen attached through offers an eyelet. There is a lot of creativity in this journal but also a lot of functional journaling space for you to write your stories, ideas, or daily happenings.
The fairy journal collection is one that had a couple of years of planning and a couple of months of work put in to create. Each page is individually designed/curated using vintage book pages, handmade paper, hand dyed paper, interesting found items, digital art, and other wonders. The pages are adorned with lots of handmade ephemera, interesting book findings, and other bits and bobs. No two are alike. This collection was inspired by The Flower Fairies imagined by Cicely Mary Barker. There are many beautiful elements using fabric, silk flowers, handspun yarn and beading. No two are the same.
