This is an Illustrated Two-Volume Dictionary Set. These are large burgundy leather volumes with a gold gilt titles and detailing. The page edges are colored in a bright red marbling. This dictionary is split between the two volumes. The first, holds words spanning from A to the word Lobar. The second, holds the words between Lobate through Z. They measure approximately 11” tall by 9” wide. The set together measures 5” wide when put together on offers a shelf. The two volumes hold a total of 1,506 printed pages. A beautiful, huge reference book set from the year 1960.
