The new puzzle art: harmony between shapes, materials and motifs.
This puzzle is dedicated to the Italian painter and designer Vittorio Zecchin. He worked in the period of Art Nouveau and Art Deco and designed, among other things, glass vessels of classical elegance. Some also call him the "Italian Klimt". In the puzzle pieces you will find some forms of the ornaments of that time, but also the outlines of some of his vessels.
Size: 294 x 300 mm
Unlike an ordinary puzzle, a ClairDeBois puzzle requires special attention to the shape: wavy lines, human figures, spirals, flowers and all other original outlines must be looked at closely to see if they fit together.
Each puzzle is dedicated to a single artist and represents an illustration of a specific work. There are two types of puzzle pieces: thematic pieces that relate to the overall oeuvre of the artists offers or the art movement of the time, and connecting pieces that follow the same pattern but are still unique.
Each piece of the puzzle is unique. All ClairDeBois creations are 100% made in Berlin: from design to printing to laser cutting. More at www.clairdebois.com.
Attention: The parts are sometimes very filigree, which makes their charm, but they are also fragile. If a piece breaks, a little wood glue should fix the problem. Otherwise, one part becomes two parts, which does not prevent assembly. In addition, when the box is opened, a smell that comes from the manufacturing process can escape. However, this smell quickly disappears as soon as the parts are exposed to the air.
