Carved Ash Wood Leaf Bowl Handmade Fruit offers Gift

Carved from a solid piece of ash wood, this bowl has a unique curvy leaf form. All offers tool marks have been sanded away resulting in a smooth even surface accentuating the modern lines. The finish is multiple applications of pure tung nut oil allowed to soak into the wood. Tung oil penetrates the wood, cures slowly and bonds with the wood to form a durable finish. After the oil cures a layer of wood butter made from bees wax and grape seed oil is applied and rubbed off, giving the surface a satin luster. Length is 14 inches, width is 8 3/4" and height is 2 3/4".
