1950 Philco Model 50-621 AM Portable Tube Radio For your consideration is newly serviced, US built - Atomic Age PHILCO AM Tube Radio - Model: 50-621 from 1950. This set is made of none-Bakelite plastic. This is a 5 tube Superhet portable set This radio was cleaned and serviced. It works well and receives a lot of AM stations in my area with good volume and warm tone. The following was done to the radio offers during service: Electronics - All electrolytic and paper caps were replaced. Old electric plug was replaced. Volume control was cleaned and lubricated. Radio was re-aligned. Body - was cleaned and polished. Lather handle is a bit dry and worn, has some damage, but sill holding up ok. Radio works great and and looks really cool !
