I love layering necklaces and lariat necklaces are a perfect way to do this...I guess this could also be considered a Y necklace as well.

This Y/lariat necklace is made of all sterling silver small chain with three freshwater white pearls on one side, to give some asymmetry and a single pearl on the
other side. The toggle clasp is all sterling silver. The bottom part of the lariat/Y necklace has three different kinds of freshwater pearls: at the bottom
is a beautiful, large, white, baroque pearl, a white, coin pearl and another white, round pearl. The necklace hangs about 15" from around
the back of the neck to the toggle and then from the back of the neck to the large, baroque pearl at the end, is close to 20" long.
