Gorgeous Green Glass Rune Set With offers Red Enamel Runes

Amy and I have an interest in modern pagan practices and religions. This takes a look at spiritualism from the viewpoint of anthropologists and includes forays into human consciousness and psychic phenomena like racial history. The two most popular icons along this line are probably Tarot and the Viking runes, called Futhorc or Futhark. Here, we proudly present Amy's take on a very artistic interpretation.

This includes the Aettir, three lines of eight, that are standard to Northern European runic science, and using historically correct techniques, creates a group of portable runes that can be used with ancient techniques.

This set of old norse runes is quite possibly the most popular modern interpretation, (Ralph Blum's rune book, which is still top on the list at Amazon page for rune books) with a modern extra blank rune called "Wyrd". We figure, this is one of the most popular sets in the modern day, and if you don't like it, you can just leave it out.
The runes themselves are drawn by hand using red enamels, following with tradition. So, these aren't just painted on, they are fired on, making the runes very durable in comparison.

At its core, these practices seem to draw from the collective subconscious icons of divergent cultures all over the earth, and taps into those roots, "universal truths", to provide us with insight we could not extract without a tool.

The tiles are a transparent leaf green, the enamels themselves are quite bright. With the red on the gree background, these are real stunners.

First, the runes these are indelible. The enamel is sandwiched between the green glass and a clear glass, so it will never come off.

Second, these glass tiles are tempered in the kiln, and are as rugged as glass can be.

Third, these are the only kiln fired glass runes I've found. They are unique.

Fourth, the red runes are traditional. Originally colored with blood, and later with red ochre. They are drawn, not stamped, which I feel is important.
