Beautiful long & narrow tapestry: pink velvet machine & hand embroidered with a symmetrical repeating floral design & finished off with a yellow fringe on 1 side. I've been told this is a tribal textile called a Zardevor made by women in Uzbekistan intended as a decorative aspect to a room by hanging it up along the ceiling. It could also be used as a banner, a canopy or a very long table runner. Or even as part of a theater or festival garment. Very heavy @ 2 pounds which makes it expensive to ship. Good condition with a few dark marks & small holes along the edge, & a few places where the fringe was accidentally sewn into the seam. 18" + 3" fringe wide x 154" long (4+ yards) *No international shipping. *Economy shipping is mostly UPS for larger/heavier items.
