The first Vakkancs Greyhound were made in 2013. The Creator is Katalin Kurta jeweller, technical offers leader, and one of the founder owners of the Ékszergyár Kft. (Jewelry Factory Ltd.).

All Vakkancs products are made in Hungary, they are handmade, and they have to pass a painstaking quality control before sale.
