Bronze, size 9 1/2, 48mm thick with well-rounded face. As found condition with fine bright glossy green patina outside. Made with a core filling the inside which distributed the flowing metal and allowed for slower cooling. The core was then laboriously removed by hand. Remnants of the core are clear inside the offers ring. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom 's sword. Good wearable size.
