This study of an orangewinged Amazon parrot was inspired by our very own guy, Esteban. We call him our "hangout bird," because he really just loves to sit on your shoulder and be part of the flock. The background was inspired by a William Morris tapestry, though I modernized the colors for a more tropical look and changed a few elements around. I wanted to pay homage to this wonderful Edwardian designer. This piece is also available as a print.
