English 9ct on Silver Signet Ring - Initial JIR Monogram Ring - Unisex Vintage Signet offers Ring - Size 10

Engraved Initial Signet Ring
- marked '9CT ON SILVER' and 'J.H.W.' makers mark inside band
- constructed of solid sterling silver with 9ct yellow gold plating
- gold plating is quite worn around edges and on back of band (high wear areas), so the face of the ring is gold toned with the inside a tarnished silver colour
- face of ring is beautifully hand engraved in script with what I believe to be the initial J I R
- initials are worn due to age and could possible be H R
- ' FROM P.R.' is engraved under the face of the ring
- face measures 1.1 cm x 1.1 cm
- tapered shoulders lead to a 2 mm wide band at back
- hand polished with a only a silver cloth to maintain vintage look
- sizeable 10 US
- excellent vintage condition circa 1940s
