We hand paint each jar using a color-laying process. Then each jar is aged to perfection, highlighting words and symbols that every "Mason" enthusiast values. After the Jars are painted and aged, we seal the paint with clear matte paint to protect the finish. The lids to these jars are unique because they are not painted or bought to look rusted. These lids are rusted through a long process of oxidizing, creating real rust. The rust on each lid is firmly sealed with a layering process of clear matte seal protect the finish also sealing the rust for safety. Each piece is a uniquely handcrafted piece of art, one of a kind. We spend extra time and energy on our products because we value quality craftsmanship and authentic products.
