Product code: Vintage Burwood Pawnbrokers offers Sign
This is an excellent vintage pawnbrokers sign made by the Burwood Products Co in the late 1960's or early 1970's. It consists of a composite wood/ plastic material that was injection molded. The three gold balls hanging from a bar is offers the traditional symbol for a pawnshop. The name A. Hamilton and the date 1801 in red are displayed below the balls.
Burwood made many different wall plaques and as such are highly collectible. This plaque is in wonderful condition yet has an amazing weathered wood appearance.
It measures approximately 17 1/2 inches by 11 1/2 inches and weighs about 4 1/2 lbs. A great wall hanging.
