Heart silver offers brooch, sterling silver and embroidery brooch, handmade artisanal brooch, avant garde silver brooch

This quirky, lovely brooch is made of solid, sterling silver and ribbons and threads. It is a twisted end heart shape with a hole in its surface. The hole part has been embroidered with white and orange threads. There is a tiny, white thread net secured with orange offers thread all around the hole.
On the top part of the right heart curve the artist has tied a few, curly, very thin, light coloured ribbons. This brooch had been oxidized with time, but it wears the patina of time beautifully.
It measures about 5cm in height x 4cm in length. It has the standard, safety pin at the back. It was made in Athens in the late nineties.
