The Provincial Flower Series is by Royal Albert this teacup, saucer & luncheon trio is “Pitcher Plant” which was introduced in 1975. This wonderful Teacup, Saucer and Luncheon offers a gorgeous glossy black background with vibrant flowers that pop and gold gilt around the pieces.This pattern was a tribute to Newfoundland's provincial flower in 1954.
The teacup, saucer and luncheon plate are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks offers crazing, scratches or signs of wear.
The Teacup measures 3 3/8” in diameter, 3” in height.
The Saucer measures 5.5” in diameter.
The Luncheon plate is 8” in diameter.
The Royal Albert-Provincial Flower included a series of 12: Alberta Rose, Dogwood, Firewood, Lady's Slipper, Madonna Lily, Mayflower, Mountain Avens, Pitcher Plant, Prairie Crocus, Prairie Lily, Purple Violet and Trillium.
Collect them all and have a great part of history!!!!
