Vintage Broken China Ceramic Shards "Windmill of Daudet" Dishes offers and "Cottage Chic" Painted Box

Vintage, "Windmill of Daudet" dish shards form the offers lovely design on this unique and one-of-a-kind box. The pine wood is painted white with a medium green color on top giving a crackled finished and "cottage chic" look to the box. Different parts of the dishes form the scene and design. A textured grout is used, then sanding removes any sharp edges and finally a protective coat of sealer is applied. Its dimensions are 8 1/2" L x 5 1/4" W x 3 1/2" H, the weight is about 1 lb. 4 oz., there is a latch closing and 4 small felt pad circles are on the underside. Lining the inside bottom and top is a medium green paper. This lovely box would make a wonderful gift for keepsakes and treasures.
