-The condition criteria for vintage denim is different than it is for other vintage pieces due to the fact that part of vintage denim's appeal is rooted in its wear, breaking-in, and sometimes distressing.
-Vintage denim designated as being in “Excellent Vintage Condition,” may still have some discolorations, markings, small tears, and wear to the hems. It will not, however, have holes that make the denim unwearable, nor will it be in any way structurally unsound. An example of “Very Good” vintage condition for denim might be a pair of jeans with a tear under the butt, which might still be an appealing quality for some. Such an example of wear, however, would most likely be mentioned outright in the item description.

*Excellent/Like New vintage condition = As far as the seller can see, item is virtually flawless
*Excellent vintage condition = No notable/visible flaws or damage. When referring to clothing items, no discolorations, tears, holes, fraying, or odors. When referring to shoes and bags, no significant wear or scuffs, (shoes may have normal scuffing at soles, but no wear down of soles or heels
*Very good vintage condition = Item may have a couple of spots of wear or discoloration, however, they do not detract from the appearance of the piece, nor do they affect the structure of the item
