Antique offers French brass and glass trinket box, jewellery box, ring box. Rectangular trinket box with bevelled glass lid and red fabric lining.

Antique French jewellery box made from a gold metal with scrolled patterned detailing around the body. The lid is hinged and made from bevelled glass in a claw setting. It closes with a little round clasp. The inside is lined in a red velvet material. It stands on four little round feet offers. The underneath is made of unpolished plate. The whole thing could be polished up to a bright brass finish, but I've left it in it's original timeworn condition.
It measures 8 cms (3 1/4") long x 6cms (2 1/4") wide x 5 cms (2") tall approximately.
Condition. I would describe the condition as good. It has some small scratches on the lid. The underneath plate is worn. The lining is not original and is a more modern replacement.
