This is a very hard to find piece of Jewelry. It is a sterling Silver filigree Brooch from the middle east made in the 1930s. Exotic and unusual vintage brooch made in the late moments of first Shah of House of Pahlavi Dynasty. The central decorated panel of the Brooch has a very abstract representation of the Samanid Mausoleum in Bujara, Uzbekistan and it was a souvenir for pilgrims visiting the shrine.

The Samanid mausoleum was built between 892 and 943 CE as the resting-place of Ismail Samani - a powerful and influential amir of the Samanid dynasty, one of the last native Persian dynasties that ruled in Central Asia in the 9th and 10th centuries.
