Beautiful piece of Mata Ortiz pottery from Chihuahua, Mexico. It is signed Guadalupe Ledezma Quezada on the bottom. It has a deep red body with a hand painted green and white pattern. Using the inspiration of their pre-Hispanic ancestors, Mata Ortiz potters are famed for their intricate designs and It measures 3.5"H and is in very good condition with no cracks or chips, although there is a little wear to the paint (see photos).
