This jewelry holder is an old silver metal garbage collector from Christofle. Bearing the Gallia hallmark (sign of the silver metal of the House christofle), it is patterned with sheaves of wheat and poppies. It was made in the early twentieth century.

This ornamentation is typical of the Art Nouveau style.
