Large Mid-century Round Top Toolbox with Initials "W.H.N.", offers Distressed Metal Toolbox, Vintage Tool Box, Utility Box, Industrial Box
Here's a large, circa 1950s steel toolbox with a unique round top and hand-painted initials "W.H.D." painted on two ends. This old box has acquired lots of patina over the years for a great look with loads of storage space inside. It is made of steel and measures 24" x 13" X 13". It has steel handles on each end and a center padlock lock hasp to secure the lid. We've added a coat of satin polyurethane to the exterior so help preserve its patina.
CONDITION:
This old toolbox is structurally sound but as mentioned does have a nice patina of distressing from years of use including scratches, scuffs, dents, dings, worn finish as well as lots of surface rust but no rust-through. The handles are firmly attached. The interior is clean and free of grease or loose dirt with offers some finish wear and a few spots of surface rust. The lock hasp is a little tight slipping over the padlock loop but once in place, holds the lid down securely.
