A vintage 1950s James Kent cottage chic cake stand with Bakelite handle

James Kent manufactured earthenwares at the Old Foley Pottery, Longton, in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, England, from 1897.

This base stamp was in production from 1945.

It measures 9 inches in diameter and the handle is 5.25 inches tall.

The condition is offers good; there are no chips, cracks, or hairlines although it does have some crazing.


It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece, or authentic period prop.
