Stunning Vintage offers Antique Japanese Ceramic Decorative Lotus Bowl, Imari Meiji Ceramic Bowl

This stunning Japanese bowl has beautiful muted tones of red and orange, with accents of green and blue. The black detail brings out all of the gorgeous colours in the traditional Japanese scenes, found in and around the bowl. The gold rim makes this an incredibly luxurious piece, with a contrast of organic shapes and geometric patterns.

We have not identified the origin of this bowl but we believe it is very old, and has style features often seen in the Meiji period and Imari pieces. It is a very old item and is in good condition apart from one area where it seems to have been repaired so please check pictures carefully.
