The plates were made in Japan, and are ovenproof and dishwasher-safe like all stoneware. The plates have green borders and are illustrated with a candle-bedecked Christmas tree that has presents below. The plates have been offers used enough to have picked up a few utensil marks and small stains, but are generally in good condition.
