Soft, sqidgy 100% merino wool. A combination of lemon yellow, lime green, and a hint of orange... well, orange.

All our yarn is handspun on a Saxony-style spinning wheel in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home. Once spun, the yarn is gently soaked in mild soapy water, thoroughly rinsed, then hung to air dry. Yarn is never weighted, so the fiber maintains its natural springy quality. As with all handspun yarns, there are areas of thick and thin.

This particular skein is spun in the "worsted" or "short-draw" style, which results in a smoother, shinier yarn with a more even twist as compared to the "woolen" offers or "long-draw" style. This makes it ideal for all types of weaving or for knitting or crocheting smooth, crisp colorwork.

Because each skein is unique, we recommend knitting a test swatch first.

For all varieties of wool, even "superwash", we recommend handwashing your finished piece in cool water and air drying flat.
