Antique The Alhambra Book by Washington Irving and Illustrated by Joseph Pennell HC FE (1896) offers

This is an antique Washington Irving book called The Alhambra. It was published by London, Macmillan and Co. in 1896. It is a limited edition by Clay and Sons. It is illustrated by Joseph Pennell throughout. This is truly a beautiful copy for its age. Very bright and colorful, most of the gilt lasted on cover and page edges. Everything is attached and tight. Pages inside are very clean, but you will find occasional foxing to them. The front board leans a offers little to the right and there is wear to corners, very slight wear to edges and spine. A portion of the gold edge color towards the back has started to blacken. Overall a collectors copy. Very hard to find in decent condition. Please see all pictures.
