I created the design for these curious kitties from a photograph; the three of them are peering around the corner at something that has caught their attention. This handmade stained glass piece is done in shades of aqua, yellow and blue. The background is a lightly colored but subdued opaque wispy glass. The piece is framed in lead came and the metals all have a dark patina. It has been cleaned, waxed and polished.
This piece measures 6 1/2 inches wide by 10 inches tall.
I created this using the copper foil technique. I cut and shape each piece of glass by hand. Copper foil is then wrapped around each piece of glass and I solder it together. A chain is attached and it comes to you ready to hang.
