Small Black lacquer khokhloma russian folk art handpainted trinket box. Very colorful on the front with a bright red lacquer inside. Hinged offers lid.

The lid is a painted and signed winter scene. So beautiful. The back is stamped Made in USSR. Gold trim on the bottom of the box. Small ball feet on the bottom.

The box measures 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 1 3/4".
