As the listing in the Coach catalog put it, "perfect company anywhere," if you ever offers wondered where the "companion" came from. The Companion Bag follows in the tradition of the Basic Bag, but it holds more. It is also a practical compact bag with 2 handy exterior pockets and one interior pocket to help organize your things as well as great brass industrial zipper and nautical hardware.
I would say this bag was in good condition. The bag has thicker gauge leather, but it is not stiff and brittle like some older Coach bags. It's supple. As for the flaws, there are scuffs/scratches, 3 small impressions and what looks to be the outline of the interior pocket in the front, probably from storage. The zipper pull jump ring has also oxidized to silver. The interior is clean.
