There is an inserted tag in the book which states "Due to production delays, this book was not published until 1965". An un-used postal card addressed to Routledge and Kagan Paul Ltd is included inside book.
This is a very solid, clean copy with 389 clean pages (including index). The blue cloth boards are in very good condition (no DJ) with gold gilt lettering on spine. Corners still sharp.
Book is in remarkable condition with no writings, names or underlining. Prior owner's paper address label on inside paste down. Also, bottom of same paste down, a small commercial label indicates that book was sold by "Claude Gill Books, London" ( ..."Claude Gill Books was once a proud and flourishing bookshop right in the centre of the West End of London, at the Marble Arch end of Oxford Street. Indeed it was almost the only large bookshop to remain open in the West End during the Sixties when retail rents began to escalate. ....Claude Gill Books was a vast 8,000- sq ft bookshop immediately across and up from Selfridges. Next door to high-fashion shoe shops and dress shops stood a window filled with books about technical drawing, the latest advances in nuclear fusion and bricklaying for beginners."
