This radiant platter is made from highly figured Big Leaf Maple. The Chinese character is Wu - Enlightenment (Satori in Japanese). The Chinese character was inlaid with black mica powder, dolomite and silver metallic offers powder. The wide border band was inlaid with abalone shells and accented with colored metallic powder.
