Hand Carved Wooden Minnesota Viking offers Fan

This little viking fan is carved out of basswood and he stands approximately 3 5/8 inches tall and is 1 3/4 inches wide. He was carved using knives and gouges, next it is wood burned and then painted with a thin wash of acrylics. This technique lets the natural grain of the basswood show through. It is finished with polyurethane and a natural wax coating and offers buffed to a nice luster. My signature and 2022 is on the bottom of the carved piece.
