Contemporary wearable art designer earrings showcasing precious and rare frosted glass wings. Each butterfly wing is handmade from lampwork glass by Kim Snider in the USA, with transparent and frosted clear glass tipped with ice blue. Delicate to look at but remarkably strong, they flutter beneath equally rare bubbly frosted beads, handmade by US lampwork maestro Tom Gronwall. I have bound them together with gold filled wire, and added accents of vintage Swarovski crystals and gold vermeil covered sterling silver beads. Suspended from charming gold fill lever back earwires, they are long, lightweight and easy to wear. Truly one of a kind and never to be repeated, my frost earrings are very long with a total length approx 3.4in/86mm

A note about the lampwork glass wings used in these designer earrings: Kim Snider's butterfly wings sell for many 100's of US dollars - if and when you can get hold of them, that is! Kim does not put her work up for sale very often, but when she does it sells out within seconds of being listed. Hence I save her wonderful pieces to use exclusively in my very high end creations.
