Sterling Silver Delft Pin Brooch, offers Niekerk Bros 830 Holland Delft Windmill Pin Brooch, Blue Delft Pin Holland 830 Niekerk, Vintage Delft Pin

This listing is for a Vintage Blue Delft Signed Niekerk Bros Holland 830 Windmill Pin Brooch. The Pin depicts a Blue and White Classic Windmill scene. The oval blue and White cabochon is set in a silver setting with twisted rope detailing framing the cabochon. A very intricate filigree design surrounds the pin. The pin bears the Delft marking offers and has the symbol for Sterling Silver running through it. The filigree work is in perfect condition and beautifully enhances the Blue and White windmill design. The ceramic/porcelain cabochon is in perfect condition with no cracks or surface crazing. I would estimate that the piece was made in the 1900s-1910. The pin measures approximately 1 3/4" L and 1" W. The approximate measurement of the cabochon is 7/8" L x 3/8"W. The maker's mark, Niekerk Bros Holland 830, is on the back of the pin.

I have not cleaned the silver settings as many collectors prefer the original patina.
