This handmade wire bonsai wall hanging is made in the cascading bonsai style, using a wire version of the Phoenix technique. offers The wire tree is rooted on a beautiful juniper remnant, to imitate the grafting of juniper on deadwood.
A juniper remnant is a juniper that has aged to the degree that there are no longer any living branches or roots, and has been further worn by unknown time as deadwood exposed to the elements. It is collected ethically (nonliving).
The wire bonsai tree is made of silver aluminum wire and cascades along the natural shape of the juniper remnant.
This is intended as a wall piece, and is fixed to a black repurposed metal frame which is easily hung on the wall. Please note the juniper wood curls back about 1cm beyond the frame so it should be hung keeping that in mind.
