This teal colored bowl was thrown on the wheel and then trimmed by hand with a knife. After the bowl was fired once, teal colored glaze with speckles was painted on the inside and the outside. Next the outside was sponged off leaving the glaze in the details. This made the inside smooth and the outside looks and feels rough.

This bowl was made with food safe clay and glazes. It can be used to serve salsa or water for a pet. It would also make a great planter.
