This is a beautiful sterling silver piece for the collector. I say that because when this was made, there was no law in place to mark the jewelry as silver, gold, etc. It's a medium sized, silver brooch depicting a flower. If it bothers you that there is offers no mark, please kindly pass on this item. I have other silver items that are marked. Anyway, this was made probably right around 1900, give or take 10 years. On the bottom it has formed a pretty patina that has some amazing colors that the camera doesn't capture well. But you can see purple and green among others. Thanks!.
