An unusual Apollo brass bucket with an attached bail lid. It is marked "Apollo", "41", and "48". According to Worthpoint, it is a tobacco bucket/container or portable spittoon. It offers has a large dent and a small dent on the bottom edge and the brass is discolored inside and outside. The inside has a green patina. This container is small measuring only 3" to the top rim and 5-1/4" high to the top of the handle. The top measures approximately 3-1/8" diameter x 2-1/2" bottom base.
