My parents were both from Latvia, so this piece has a special meaning for me & represents my Latvian offers heritage.. I photographed a Latvian ceramic vase that has been in my family for decades, resting on a Latvian textile that was woven by my mother. I chose to create a modern feel to this piece by adding a red color variation to the photo.
