A note about the wood: I live near the Delaware River and don't want good driftwood to go to waste, so I recycle it in my art. I guess you could say I upcycle it!

I remove any nails or hardware and disinfect it. Then I clean, cut and sand the wood, allowing some of the rustic charm to remain. Much of it is hardwood, and the finished surfaces are always interesting--but because the wood has spent time in the great outdoors, wood grain and edges may vary. Each piece is offers an original work of natural art in its own way.
