Color frontispiece "Portrait De Lady Helen Vincent" is hand signed and dated by artist Benjamin-Constant, "Washington, 15 Mar 1894" Edition limited to 430 copies, this copy unnumbered with Goupil's chromo-lithographed title, after G. Boulanger engraved by A. Charpentier, bound in.

Spine poorly repaired with about half of original missing. Boards are lightly soiled but secure. Illegible gift inscription on front endpapers. Complete but several engravings coming loose and occasional light foxing.
