The color of this Lapis Lazuli is a true ultramarine blue with very tiny striations of lighter blue marbling on the surface of the stone.

MEASURES: 27mm in length by16.7 mm in width and a thickness of 8.6 mm

The oval cabochon lapis Lazuli is a grand size at 22 mm's in length by 27 mm's in width and a thickness of 5 mm's. This piece rises majestically off the finger by 8.6 mm's. Using a stone calculator this would equate to an approximate 9.5 carat stone.

CONDITION: Excellent with gently worn, expected wear.

Not only does the stone speak volumes but the choice of setting is absolutely a perfect complement for this lapis treasure. The lapis is set firmly into a custom pie crust bezel on an oval plaque, using curved prongs on either side mounted firmly on the wide band which is 9.5 mm's (1/3 inch) tapering to 6 mm's (1/4 inch) at the bottom. Just the right amount of detail went into the design of this piece giving it a sculpted, dimensional look.

It is adjustable up or down by about 1/4 size. It is presently a size 7 and due to the construction will definitely fit a size 6 and 3/4 or possibly a size 7 and 1/4. This piece was created using solid, thick, sterling silver which works extremely well with the Lapis Lazuli. Total weight of this ring is a healthy 10.4 grams.

Condition of the Lapis Lazuli is extremely fine with the stone possessing a very nice surface sheen. Silver mounting is in gently worn condition with all details nice and crisp.
