This little oil painting is painted on Arches oil painting paper and is paper made of cotton. The surface is often slightly layered but smooth with quite a lot of depth. These types of little paintings serve as a small place for new ideas which I often make into bigger artworks but these little artworks are sometimes where the ideas begin so have offers a certain type of freshness. I never repeat the same painting but a lot of my ideas are so special to me that I do use them again and again.
