Designed by Mario Bellini offers in 1986 for Rosenthal, Germany, as part of the manufacturer's Studio Line, this is the hard-to-find large oval platter from his award-winning Cupola dinnerware range. Cupola was available in solid white along with a number of very cool patterns that were designed by Bellini as well as other designers. Noted here is the designer's fabulously graphic Strada pattern that features an engaging pattern of black and gray around the platter's perimeter. In excellent condition, this piece is marked on its underside as illustrated in photo #4. Measures 14.25" x 10.5" (widest points of form).
