Downton Abbey Style OOAK Repurposed Vintage White Crochet Doily Vest, Boho, Edwardian, Upcycled Crochet Size S-M

This beautiful Edwardian/Boho style long vest was made using all vintage crochet doilies, in white with one in beige. Lacy, detailed, and elegant. It had 3 large buttons in front to close. The back has a wonderful peacock feather style doily that truly makes this piece!

All of my hand made, upcycled ,and repurposed clothing has been carefully made on my Bernini sewing machine, using vintage pieces, mainly from the 1940's-1970's. I use all kinds of vintage linens in my designs - crochet doilies, tablecloths, napkins and handkerchiefs. Most of them are also embellished with things like lace and trims, small crochet flowers, buttons, beads, and my own hand made flowers. Several are made using clothing or vintage slips.

Hours of work goes into offers these amazing pieces of clothing and the details are remarkable, so please look carefully and closely to fully appreciate the time, the dressmaking skills and beautiful materials that go into them.

I measure as carefully as I can but, of course, there is usually some leeway in the fit. I will note the stretched and unstretched measurements as necessary, as well as the suggested size.

Please note - Since they are made using vintage linens, do treat with TLC. All are quite wearable and can be gently hand washed in lukewarm water when necessary.
