Rare Small offers c 1900 Antique Faux Basket Biscuit Tin, Palmer Brothers, Vintage Box, Blue Yellow w Handle, Farmhouse Basket Tin

offers Delightful and rare -- a small antique figural biscuit tin from Palmer Bros, designed to look like a basket with handle, and known as “Small Hamper.” Pretty blue color for accent areas. Some details are embossed. It dates to around 1900. Lid is hinged. About 5.5” by 3” by 2.75” tall, excluding handle.

CONDITION:
Some small areas of wear, small scratches and scuffs, handling marks and normal vintage soiling, small/minor dents and dings, etc.
•A bit more wear on blue area on lid.
•Small worn area on each end of base from handle resting.
•Light spot/stain on back side of base at lower left.
•Dark patina and some surface rust inside; dark patina on outside bottom.
•Handle and hinges well attached, move freely.
•Opens/closes pretty easily.
•Lid is warped a bit in open position, looks pretty normal in closed position.
•Wobbles slightly.

The tin is empty.

No longer for food use. Any props not included.
