This is the classic offers eagle head handle design for a walking stick. It is just the top handle but has a unique 2 piece top that can easily be remounted onto the cane of your choice. The ring is mounted to a stick or cane and the handle screws on. The handle is hollow so you can hide your secrets inside safely.
It is shiny, silver plated and some of the plating has worn with age and use to show a slight brass tone underneath. I love this patina. You can easily polish and buff it up more if you like. What is rare is to have the Crown Sheffield and crown icon stamped on the base.
Measures almost 3.5” long with both pieces together and 3.5” wide for the handle part for your hand to grip. The inner ring of handle mount is approximately 7/8” in diameter and there are 2 holes inside for driving mounting nails thru to support the stick being mounted inside.
I actually love this without the cane, use it as a paperweight or mount it to a shorter wooden stick and base for a unique display.
